How to rapidly design a business model for any business venture, using the Business Model Canvas
The course uses the Business Model Canvas as a framework for developing business model design skills. It takes you through business model design fundamentals in a step-by-step manner.
This course is ideal for people from any industry wanting to start a new business venture, either by building a new organization, or a building new line of business within the context of an existing organization.
It is also essential learning for those having to renovate or transform the money-making recipe of an existing business.
Your Instructor
I'm a Business Architect with 20+ years of experience, mostly in the Banking and Telecommunications industries.
I've gained a broad, first-hand understanding of the world of business, having held various roles, with responsibilities including Sales and Marketing, Human Resources Management and Recruitment, Learning and Development, Business and Systems Analysis and Design, Project and Programme Management, Operations Management, Operations Strategy and Business Architecture.
Nowadays I specialize in Business and IT Strategy alignment, Digital Transformation, and Business & Enterprise Architecture. My day-to-day responsibilities include consulting, research, training, product and business development.
I've developed a passion for helping start-ups and other businesses to achieve success. I'm from a part of the world which is plagued by unemployment, and I believe there is no greater purpose than helping people and communities gain the security, dignity and sense of purpose that stems from building successful businesses. My hope is that the Designing Business Models-course will support this ideal.
Academically, I have a background in Business Management (B.Com), Industrial Psychology (B.Com. Hons), Information Technology (Dip. IT cum laude), Business Leadership (MBA cum laude) and Leadership Coaching (CPLC). I'm also a certified TOGAF Enterprise Architect.
